Pencil sketch of a cascading waterfall in a tropical setting, which was used to create a colored illustration for the associated publication. The final illustration did not include the people shown at the lower right. “As visitors arrive at the new Zoo entry complex they will find a spacious entrance plaza with a breathtaking display of landscape features. In addition to beds of colorful annuals and borders of canopy shade trees, Zoo visitors will be greeted by the sight and sound of cascading water, presenting a dynamic introduction to the new Louisville Zoo.” A colored version of this drawing is zoo_lou_sk_07.
