It proposed a fictitious exhibit in the Elipse in Washington, D. C. that had as its centerpieces a large sculpture (depicted at the right) and a wall-sized mural (depicted at the bottom). The submission received a first award in the competition. Bassett frequently worked with Brandt’s firm, Brubaker/Brandt, on projects over the course of their long careers.</text>
